Each day when I ask how you feel,

I'm not asking you to lie, I want you to keep it real!


There's no expectation for you to be over it,

Mindful practice will help you tackle it bit by bit!


Some days will be deeply dark,

in others there will be a glimmer, a spark!


They say we should sit with our feelings and not avoid them,

no matter how hard, how scary, it may be that I believe them!


The light will breakthrough again, cracking through the dark shade,

Your dreams, your hopes are all self-made!


We're here everyday by your side,

to listen and to guide.
